From Germany to the south of France

Thomas Wicke has always harboured a deep love and respect of the Earth. Born in Germany, after finishing his secondary school education, he undertook an apprenticeship as a nursery gardener. Very soon left unsatisfied by this course, he decided to come to France in 1979 to perfect his knowledge of organic farming and environmental protection.

In 1982, after obtaining a diploma as an agricultural technician, he chose to move to the Aude department. The choice of this traditionally agricultural region met with two deep convictions:

As early as 1984, all of Thomas Wicke’s fruit, vegetable and cereal productions were certified as organic in their totality.

Since 1996 Thomas le Jardinier® is present at organic fairs in France, Belgium, Spain, Germany and Switzerland.

He would not miss for anything these occasions to meet the consumers with whom he enjoys sharing his passion for organic food.

His tastings of REGAL VEGETAL® spreads accompanied by his "CONFIT D’OIGNON" are the perfect opportunity for him to explain the importance of a balanced diet and the urgent need that exists to cherish and respect the Earth.

Thomas le Jardinier® is today proud to have turned his very first customers into ethical consumers, ever faithful to these annual meetings.

Through these encounters Thomas le Jardinier® remains attentive to his customers and by elaborating new recipes he can put his know how at use fulfilling their expectations.

Thus, in 2006, he created a new range « Vegetable Tartars» which was followed in 2007 by the delicious « Seaweed Tartar».
